"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)

Prayer is like breathing to our spiritual walk.  When we talk to God and listen for His Spirit, we connect with our "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)

We speak often with our Lord Sunday mornings, including a dedicated time of prayer at 9:45 am to give thanks to Him and to lift up our needs and the needs of others.  Praises and prayer requests are submitted at the "prayer table" in the foyer prior to service and then prayed for by the church body, led by a CBC teacher or leader.  

We pray weekly for: salvation of the lost, missionaries, broken marriages and families, widows and elderly, health concerns, the unemployed, our government leaders, and more.
