At CBC, we encourage each member to serve the Lord with their God given gifts.  As such, our members are actively reaching out and loving others in their neighborhoods and communities.  Many members are personally involved in local services and outreaches like Meals on Wheels, MOMS of Union City, and Second Harvest Food Bank's Produce Express.

We as a church body also support several local services and outreaches, through financial support and/or volunteer services.

• Women's Care Center

Community members may also remember CBC for the 5 years we ran a monthly low-cost food assistance program known as Angel Food Ministries (closed September 2011).

Also, if you feel prompted to participate in an existing church ministry or to start a new one, we encourage you to pray for confirmation and direction.  Be of good courage if the prompting is for some ministry or task you do not feel able to do in your own energy or ability.  He will prepare you and guide you each step of the way.  Please also contact a member of our CBC leadership for encouragement, prayer, and assistance.
